Two years ago I did a tandem skydive to raise money for Martlets Hospice, persuaded by my friends who volunteer, Maureen and Roy Gumbrell. That one jump changed my life.

365 jumps later I’m still completely addicted. I have travelled to countries I’ve never visited before in order to learn more about skydiving and jump lots more. These include Russia and America.

My latest mission is to do my best to find sponsorship to be one of the first people to jump as part of a pioneering Everest skydive taking place later this year. My enthusiasm alone is not enough to be part of this amazing adventure that will be documented (and everything)! I have asked for help from Sir Richard Branson of Virgin, but not heard back from him (yet). Once I get sponsorship, I can then put my efforts into raising more money for Martlets. It’s thanks to them I’m having the flying time of my life.
