What does a skydive feel like ?
Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 12,000 feet - the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph! Once the parachute opens everything slows down, you’ll have an incredible birds eye view accross Kent and on a clear day you can see all the way to the shores of France!
Raising money for the Martlets
To take part, all you have to do is raise £395 in sponsorship and in turn we will receive a minimum donation of £150. Of course we hope that anyone that takes part in our skydive will raise as much as they can!!
Each year we organise two group jumps in aid of the Martlets - on these jumps everyone will be completing a tandem sky dive. However charity skydives happen all year round and there are several different types of jump available from tandem to solo, from 12,000ft to 3,000ft - the choice is yours. If you would like to jump on another day or maybe you want to train to skydive solo in aid of the Hospice then please let us know.
